Bronx Bajans
we would take the train to brooklyn
leaving the bronx
down through harlem
out to prospect park
bergen street and franklin avenue
where everyone was cousin
aunt and uncle
where talk was about back home
and who died
and who got married
and who we were
we were always reminded
on sundays
