Translation
Translated By Armen Davoudian
Translated from the Persian
Where there is no “we”
we are
sometimes lip to lip
sometimes apart
sometimes eye to eye
sometimes tongue-tied
lost in the vague geography of words
where we find ourselves again
you, my voice
I, your heartbeat
us, nomads of our mother tongue
in another tongue.
