Therapist Asks Me to Describe Grief

Storm comes like Gorgon slither
Gorgon wingspan

Sound is someplace else
like head under water someplace

Tumbling, duckweed cover, under water someplace
Where is Eurydice
Is that echo

These walls  never ending
These walls  anonymous navigation
We crossed, we did indeed
We crossed looking for the spirit
of the storm
Lapping tides  exed out winds lavender in all

Earth bound is what comes
bound by forces of dark
forced dark

Heaven’s spread thinned out
universal texture of gum
universe mugged

the ground’s bottomed out
outed, muddied as all hell

The heart caught in the grey clouds moving
